Christian education for adults, youth, and children

Adults

Adult Forum: Adult Forum is held on Sunday mornings during the 9:00 a.m. education hour in the Fellowship Wing from September through May. The Forum covers a wide variety of topics, including issues of Christian faith, history, theology, life, and Bible study. Guest lecturers contribute throughout the year.

Bible Studies:  Adult Bible studies are offered throughout the year on Monday nights. Suggestions for topics or specific books of the Bible to study are always welcome.

Youth

Confirmation Class (Grades 6, 7 and 8)
: St. Martin’s offers a three year training for Confirmation.  The Confirmation class meets on Sunday mornings during the education hour at 9:00 a.m.  The program includes studies of the Bible, The Small Catechism, Martin Luther, and Lutheran traditions.  An annual weekend retreat is part of the program. The rite of confirmation normally occurs on Pentecost.

Children’s Sunday School (Age 3 through Grade 5) ; Sunday School for children from age 3 through grade 5 is offered every Sunday during the education hour at 9:00 a.m.

Vacation Bible School

Every summer, St. Martin’s offers a week-long Vacation Bible School (VBS) for children age 4 through grade 4. For more information, visit our Vacation Bible School page.
