Prayer is at the center of worship at St. Martin’s. Every service includes prayer – prayers that are part of the liturgy as well as intercessory prayer that addresses the needs of the congregation at that particular time. Over the next three years, one of our five focus areas at St. Martin’s will be worship and hospitality, which will start out with learning how to pray and how to participate in Bible study.
Beyond prayer that is part of our life within the walls of St. Martin’s, an active prayer chain prays every day for those whose needs have been made known through any of a variety of ways – a phone call, an email to the church office, a pew card handed in to one of the ushers, a word with the pastor.
No concern is too big or too small for prayer: We pray and God answers our prayers in His way.
