Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these
my brothers, you did it to me.
Matthew 25:40
There are many in need – both in our own community and across the globe. It can be difficult for one person to know where to start, but together we can make a difference.
St. Martin’s has a long history of helping those in need. We encourage everyone to become involved in our outreach ministries so that we can continue to make a difference in the lives of others. Some of our ministries help those in our community – others help those around the globe.
We recently held our first annual Shop for the Hungry event at Shoppers Food Warehouse in Annapolis after Sunday worship service.. We collected 48 cans of tuna, 34 boxes of cereal, 93 cans of fruits and vegetables, 73 cans of soups and stew, 33 boxes of spaghetti, 25 boxes of mac and cheese, 16 jars of peanut butter, and 15 jars of jelly along with a variety of other foods and personal products.
