I have been the Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper for St. Martin’s Lutheran Church for almost six years now. My areas of focus include but are not limited to the following: responsible for managing the church office (answering phone calls and emails and providing support for the church staff).
In addition, I provide a knowledgeable presence during office hours (assisting members and visitors to the church), facilitate church communications (producing weekly bulletins; tracking weekly announcements; sending out e-blasts and creating monthly newsletters), I record/track church billing, accounts, payments and complete staff payroll.
On a more personal note, my husband Mark and I have been members of St. Martin’s for 16 years. We have a daughter, Emily, who is 9 years old. We were married here, and our daughter was baptized here as well. Over the years, I’ve been active in various church volunteer roles such as being a bell choir member for almost six years, organizing women’s prayer breakfasts and being a mentor for new members. Mark has served on Church Council, Finance Committee and the board at the Light House Shelter. He currently still serves on both Finance Committee and at the Light House Shelter.
